Everton Away

I don't think it's a certain defeat at all, think we can get something from this game, everton are not exactly on fire atm.

True. But have you factored in that Eddie stated in his post match interview yesterday that both Wilson and Gosling are injured again and that King is ill. Assuming the worse case scenario, this could put us on the back foot at Everton if these player don't make it.

The way Silva sets up his team should suit us. If for once we can actually defend properly, it’s a game we could easily get something from. Just like our last 3 trips to Goodison really.

I won’t be going though. The view at Goodison is pitchside and therefore very difficult to see what’s going on.

I'm confident they will be fine.

You go through London to get anywhere from Bournemouth, also who says they weren't both off to Harley Street to get some specialist advice

Lowest ever in the PL potentially but lowest ever ... ?

I was one of the 13 at Clyde!

Should have stated Prem, I was one of the unfortunate few that made the trip to Blyth so I know all about low away followings! Albeit not quite as low as 13.

400-500 for a Prem match on a weekend is pretty poor regardless of the situation.

There are two people that will not be going to Everton. They are Wilson and Gosling who, according to Eddies post match interview yesterday, are both injured and that King is ill.

I'm guessing you don't remember the days when every week Fletch was 'a concern', 'being monitored', 'carrying a knock', 'doubtful', 'unlikely to start' etc...

The first rule when hearing EH's comments about a player's availability for the upcoming fixture (aside from for the long-term injured) is to take what EH says with a pinch of salt.

Yep, Gosling and Wilson may not appear at Everton but don't be surprised if they both start and play the full 90 minutes.

On a more serious note. Could anybody hazard a guess as to what the team might be at Everton. This in view of the fact that with a worse case scenario, according the Eddie Echo report this morning, we could be without Fraser, Ake, Gosling, Wilson, King (illness), not to mention Adam Smith, Lewis Cook and Francis.

If this is the case then there will still be some loopy-loo who will believe that we will get something from the game.

Far too early to worry about it. Check back on Friday.
