Harry Wilson

Ibe, Dobre and Mahoney haven't got into double digits in goals and assists in the championship though. We could do a loan to buy deal. i would pay £20m in today's market currently, if he had a bad season we could move on to another target and if he did well and he liked it down south, then I reckon we would pay up to £30m. already PL ready with great potential.

Trust me..Never buy another player from Liverpool.

EDDIE HOWE is ready to make a £25million move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.

The Bournemouth boss wants the Wales international, 22, as competition for David Brooks and Ryan Fraser.

Very unusual for Eddie to come out and make comments like above.

Sky yesterday said Liverpool don’t want to loan him out but sell him and figure reported was £20 million. Newcastle wanted him on loan but unlikely to make an offer to buy him. Villa also reported to be interested. So why would Eddie pay more than £20 million, unless he expects a bidding war.

Edit: Just come across this.

Borussia Dortmund have emerged as frontrunners for the signature of Harry Wilson, who has attracted interest from a number of Premier League, Championship and European clubs after an impressive spell at Derby last season.

The 22-year-old winger is valued at £25m by the club and is keen to play more first-team football and the German side appear to have now leapfrogged Newcastle and Aston Villa in the pursuit.

Edit 2:

More from Sky story yesterday.

With Newcastle seemingly cooling their interest, it gives an opportunity for Aston Villa to further pursue their efforts to sign the winger, with Dean Smith reportedly keen on adding Wilson to his squad.

One source has suggested a fee of £15m rising to around £20m with add-ons would be acceptable for the club.

Well, we have a small squad. Competition for places is good so long as the bench warmers are kept happy!
Wary of dealing with Liverpool but he's a good age and apparently did well out on loan for Derby last year. So if brought for a sensible price - that's defined as how well he'd play for us over the years - I'd be OK with this.
In Eddie and Jason we trust.

Agreed. Don’t write the guy off just because he’s from Liverpool, he has a wand of a left foot, good dribbler and a free kick specialist. Would be an ideal signing really hope we pull it off. Like a younger Matt Ritchie but just a little better it every department.

Then why are Liverpool letting him go? Genuine question as I know little about the guy. Or is it a case of the player instigating the move in search of first team football?

Because he’s not good enough for their first team. It doesn’t mean we should write him off, they are the best club in Europe at the moment. Ake, Fraser, Brooks et al would also not be good enough for their first team, doesn’t mean they can’t be standouts for us.

...20 million would be a bit of a gamble IMO, it maybe that Eddie has seen something he can work with though?
