A SUPPORTERS role is to SUPPORT what is there...WHILE it is THERE!
For F√ck Sake...what has been lost over time, Press influenced.. and celebrity culture thinking !

Whatja f√ckin want then ? ...cnuting Mourinho to come down ere ..buy the cnuting Sandbanks peninsula . and take us down to L2..but its OK ..he's a cnuting big 'Name ' .innit?
Get ta f√ck outta of it !

He's clearly not capable but what is the surprise, he was bought in to be JT's number 3 and now JT is number 3 at Sheff Utd who will be in the Championship next season. What did Max expect, could've ran a fan raffle to manage the club and get the same results. If we take away John Yems getting Eddie back then Max has appointed Bradbury, Groves, Tindall and Woodgate to oversee his investment, I mean what a phucking idiot businessman, not a clue, all inexperienced cheap options you'd expect it from Ken Gardiner but phucking hell not someone who has got lucky with one good manager.

To be honest I think woodgate is doing alright considering . The players needs to take the flack for yesterday

Woodgate was brought in at the end of the transfer window. He has to work with what he has inherited which is a weak defence eg Cook, Rico, weak strikers, Solanke is again in a goal drought, and a surplus of midfielders. The squad is unbalanced to say the least.

I have no doubt he will be offered the job at season end,he will be given a miniscule budget for players, players will be sold ,and he will take the job because, quite frankly ,he won't get a Championship job anywhere else, and if he does OK,ie keeps us in the top half,or even flirts with the playoffs, its good for his CV.

It's as if Woodgate picked the best team available but then told them not to bother because the game wasn't actually important and to save themselves for the "9 cup finals ahead". If he felt like that why didn't he just play the kids and leave it at that.

Right here we go...some space to think....while our ' internationals ' are away picking up a possible Covid variety...in some unvaccinated country !

Then its a straight 9 game chase with Reading and Barnsley...and maybe 3 games to secure a promotion.

A clean slate for All the players ..we can shove aside all the prejudice and past reasons for our discontents...and be behind the club, the manager, staff and players.

The Winter of our Discontent..moves into a Spring of Enlightenment...then The Summer of Summarisation.

Followed by the Autumn of Awfulness or Awesomeness!?

He's no tactical genius or greatest manager ever, but can we take a moment to appreciate him keeping the same formation and baring injury, players, from match to match? Whether they are the right players or you agree with his formation, its very refreshing this season!

The team is starting to feel like one?

There is nothing better...than to be a fan of this club every August...any division..weighing up the crop of players...looking at the alphabetical table layout...running a pen through the likes of Aldershot, Arsenal, Accrington, Barnsley and Bolton...putting 7 W's and 3 D's against the first 10 fixtures...an L against the Cobblers or the Posh away, in the mud, in the 11th game ...or perhaps the Man City got lucky...and leaving the rest to chance !

I remember my dad panicking about the annual players 'retained list' that came out sometime in June or July in the 60's - he even knew roughly what day it would appear in the Echo...and would watch for the paper boy coming down the path ! and signings..Christ - he went mental once when he thought John Charles was signing from Juventus or somewhere over there....and we got a player from Newport or Port Vale instead.
Oh Those Cherry Picking Summers !

Will tell you at 5pm!

Blackburn have been on an awful run but haven’t lost by many goals. Need to scrap and match their work rate before we try to do the fancy stuff. Fail to do that or just play the first half well then we will be turned over. Today will tell us much about our hopes for the season.

Especially if we line up 5311 and start with Long up front...

Playing devils advocate though, there’s no way you could start a truncated season with barely any turnaround from the last season without rotation.
