British Hardcourt Championship. I stood outside one evening hoping to sneak in as Rod Laver was playing.Back in the day West Hants club used to host a great tennis tournament. Sponsored by Rothmans. I saw and met many great players. Billie Jean King was lovely, Virginia Wade snotty. Ille Nastase was terrific. Good days.

I went to the Rosewall v Laver final in April 1968. It was the first tournament of the Open era.
Shaky territory and only make these distinctions when it comes to international sport .Not sure if this has been mentioned without looking back through the thread, but remember another Canadian born tennis player who represented us by the name of Greg Rusedski.
