Every opportunity to challenge for the title hopefully.

With 3 wins already, that should at least ward off relegation fears this time around as long as the wheels don't come off completely.
 
....put themselves in the relegation fight after collapsing miserably v Essex.....can't believe they lost today!
 
Again no bottle. Essex didn't collapse after they were bowled out for 76 in first innings. Hampshire always just give up when match turns difficult, just like they did in 2nd innings.




 
Abject display with the bat against the bottom team. First Division survival still in their hands but only a win or draw will keep them up if Somerset beat Middlesex.

Time to change the coaching staff. Bring back Warnie!
 
...think that Hampshire will go down, and who would have forecast that a month ago?...Somerset look likely to beat Middlesex and I can't see us getting anywhere near the 200+ that will be required to win, indeed they will have to go for the win as they couldn't bat out a draw IMO
 
258 in their final innings and they stay up. They need a partnership to really step up to get anywhere near that.
