Non - Tokyo Olympics

When you would have thought the Olympics should be available to everyone to watch, the Discovery channel seem to have done a deal for them.

Discovery paid £920 million for all European Olympic rights until the end of the Paris 2024 Games and the BBC effectively sacrificed the full Tokyo rights to ensure it did not lose out to ITV or Channel Four for the free-to-air coverage of next year's winter Olympics in Beijing and then the summer Games in Paris in .
