The Never Ending Jukebox Track Three

What is it about Low?
I've had this running around my brain for days.

For the uninitiated the bits that sound like there is dust on the needle are meant to be there. :grinning:

When you think you've seen everything
You'll find we're living in days like these
Say you only take what you bring
Maybe that's just the way they speak
Know that I would do anything
Is it something that I can't see?
Everybody just chased by dreams
That's why we're living in days like these again

Went to see Greta Van Fleet over the weekend.

They draw the inevitable comparison to LedZep, and it comes across even more live than it does on the recordings. Long, soaring guitar solos (the brothers can definitely play) and front man brother Josh has a spectacular voice.

(I'll commit sacrilege @RobTrent and say that I heard some Geddy Lee in there as well!!)

14 songs (including a drum solo) in over 2 hours so you know that they wander away from the recordings.

Josh makes the most of his voice and there are a lot of tricks (holding a note for over a minute, or exploring his range at varying levels).

The show is bombastic, theatrical and moody at the same time.

I cannot remember when I last saw an audience reaction like Friday night. Beatle-esque comes close, I guess. Had forgotten how loud a few thousand shrieking girls can be.

These live videos give a taste of the show.

This one starts at 3:00.

Off to see Ida Nielsen tonight, she is playing a free concert in a local town close by. She was playing bass in Prince's backing band for 6 years.
