    MOTD

To be fair. If Lineker, Richards and Keown earn fortunes as pundits on motd should they be given sight of the Laws of the Game beforehand about the foul (penalty) continuing in the box? If we had been Leicester, Man City or **************** maybe they would have felt obliged to complain about the decision...

    AFC Bournemouth v Luton Town

On the train back to London with their set piece coach. The Luton player had a heart attack on the pitch and needed 2 rounds of defibrillator treatments to revive him. Currently at Bournemouth hospital for 24 hours observation and doing well. We could do with their set piece coach!

The death of a traditional chant

From the mid 60s, for those of you who had forgotten this, and with some justification. ”When we yell we yell like hell and this is what we yell. 1234, 3214, 14, 24, who the hell are we for? B. O. S. C. O. M. B. E. BOSCOMBE!” See what I mean?

    Post-match thoughts v Arsenal

You are tedious beyond belief. Lose 3 - 2 against the champions elect and you would think it's the end of the world. Not a fan of GON but under Eddie we gave away a 3 - 0 win at home and our only win was an Ibe goal, an act of God. Away to them we got spanked a lot. If we get relegated then...

    Winter holidays abroad

Camp Bay right now next to Cape Town under the shadow of Table Mountain. Warm with strong sunshine and a white sandy beach. Almost worth missing the Forest game! Saw Mi Cape Town T20 with Jofra Archer last night and Cape Town City win the footy Friday. Rantie 4. Highly recommended break.

Was really struggling with 15 mins to play. And had to stay on the pitch as no more subs permitted.

West Brom v AFC Bournemouth - 9 Games To Go

Keith Stroud was born in Bournemouth so we have a right to expect bias in our favour.

Always enjoy your posts, until this one, but glad you finally broke out of Colditz. Have a restful night. Arrived in Barnsley where it is unseasonably mild but wind beginning to blow and will be a real hazard tomorrow.

Interesting that the Telegraph has today ridiculed this honour https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/12/31/damehood-head-chaos-hit-covid-testing-system-new-year-honours/ when the lifetime peer and Baroness who wrecked the Test and Trace testing from the off to the tune of £35 billion gets away...

    Barnsley away

I shall be there too. Used to work quite closely with some of the local schools, including where that brilliant football match was filmed featuring Brian Glover, as sports teacher in the Man U number 9 shirt, who was a staunch advocate of fair play, as long as he scored all the goals! Does this...

    John Archer - RIP

I went through secondary school known as Archer as I resembled a younger version of him and was an attacker. Could have been worse. I could have been called Bumstead or even Coxon, although all three were quality players at the time.
