I agree, I think he meant it. When you watch the replay in slow motion he wheels away to celebrate before the ball is even in the net. The post/crossbar nearly ruined his celebrations though, he just about got away with it. I think as soon as it left his head he knew it was going where the keeper was not going to get to it.

Wilshere couldn’t play in a central midfield two the last time he was here so I doubt he could play it this time around.

Agree. He is a number ten and that’s it. I do think when they started running riot he could have replaced one of the forwards to offer an out.

Partly agreed but probably a better option than Billing?

He’s not a 10, he’s ironically the like for like replacement for Lewis Cook that could have been an easy option today.
